Stylized fire altar of three dots above a base; on the altar, 'Lillah' ('for Allah' in Kufic); around, SRI TAPANA[SA] ('Lord of the Sun' in Brahmi) and HA (in Brahmi). This is the first Islamic issue struck after the Arab conquest of Sind. While the conquerors added an Arabic inscription, they continued the tradition of depicting a bust of a Hindu ruler on their dammas for some time
